Pond Garden
The connection of ponds, waterfalls and a running creek bed has transformed the back of the house creating a whole new space for the family to enjoy.

A waterhaven….movement, sound and reflection soothing to the senses.
Not just for the birds!

This small dam ties into the backdrop seamlessly with a running waterfall.
Relaxation and beauty!
The cascading waterfall stimulates the senses, attracts native birds and creates a feeling of peace and tranquility.
For this project the residents enjoy their developing landscape from the perspective of their elevated decking.
“A sculptural yet functional space to view from the deck.”
“The contractor sourced a number of old wharf beams, and we used them to form a large fishhook shape. The ‘bait’ at the end of the hook was a communal fire pit and seating area, the round seats recycled from a tree that had to be removed on site.
A semi-dry riverbed skirted the hook, with raised planted berms proving a sense of privacy and protection.”
